Story
Hi all,
For those of you who don’t already know, a little over 3 months ago I had a very aggressive, high risk melanoma removed from my scalp. After surgery to remove it, I had to undergo a series of tests and scans to investigate if the cancer had spread further.
My initial PET scans came back with the all clear, and no spread had been detected, however my 3 month scan has revealed evidence of cancer in other places in my body, with a diagnosis of Metastatic Melanoma Stage IV.
I now have a bigger battle ahead of me, but one that I know I won't have to fight alone.
I have amazing people around me that empower me and give me the strength I need to fight. Thank you to everyone who has wished me well or had me in their thoughts, you’ll never know how much it means to me.
I know I will beat this cancer with the help of revolutionary treatment available to melanoma patients. Please join me in my goal to one day achieve zero deaths from melanoma.
